- Which ports does Avorion need open?
- Defaults: game 27000 TCP/UDP; query 27003, Steam query 27020 and Steam communication 27021 UDP. Verify instance arguments. Optional RCON 27015 TCP is for trusted sources only. Query success does not prove join connectivity.
- How do I install a dedicated Avorion server?
- Stop and back up the entire galaxy and mod list first. Server AppID is 565060. Log in anonymously to SteamCMD and explicitly select -beta public or -beta beta; match client branches. Our Linux launch example uses /opt/avorion/galaxy/<name>/server.ini; actual paths depend on --datapath. validate does not prove backup recovery.
