Direct public-IP connections use two consecutive UDP ports (base for queries, +1 for gameplay). Server Code / Fake IP are alternatives. Public listing needs GSLT (AppID 304930); install the server with AppID 1110390. Modern configs use Config.txt; pre-3.25.8.0 JSON migrates by difficulty. Vanilla has no built-in autosave: use Save or Shutdown.
