Server notes

The dedicated server is app id 380870 — not the 108600 of the retail game. UDP only is enough: 16261 is the main port and 16262 the direct-connect port; builds before 41.77 used the 8766/8767 pair instead, so if your server is old or players report they cannot connect, forwarding those too is the safe move. RCON is off by default and only needs 27015/TCP when enabled. Two things break new hosts: first, -Xms/-Xmx inside ProjectZomboid64.json (or StartServer64.sh) must be raised by hand — the stock values fail outright on worlds over ~4 GB with a memory error. Second, **the server rewrites the .ini from memory when it shuts down**, so every .ini edit has to be made while the server is stopped; edits made while it runs are not persisted and get clobbered on the next shutdown. In the mod settings, Workshop ID lists are separated by **semicolons** — commas break parsing and the mods silently fail to load. Map-expansion mods such as Raven Creek must be registered in both Mods= and WorkshopItems= in the .ini.
