Klei Dark Whimsical Co-op Survival · Gothic Co-op / Wilderness Survival
22 tools (10 player + 12 admin). Player side covers a 39-dish Crock Pot priority engine with failure diagnostics, reverse recipe lookup, a 12-dimension ingredient atlas, spoilage, drying-rack scheduling, winter/summer insulation, a three-layer damage model (physical/electric/planar), boss damage reduction, character insight and base siting. Admin side covers full cluster.ini and dual-shard server.ini generation, UDP port planning, shard-consistency checks, worldgen overrides, per-shard mod config, cluster token triage, troubleshooting, console commands, backup and rollback, hardware sizing, preflight checklist, LAN test mode and deployment export.
Priority resolution across 39 dishes, with diagnostics for why a pot yielded something else
Start from the dish you want and get every verified 4-slot combination
Twelve food dimensions across 32 ingredients, with hazard flags for monster and inedible values
Twelve multiplicative spoilage modifiers — ice box, salt box, temperature, wetness, cooking and more
Drying times and shelf life for eight outputs, with rack-count and day estimates for a target yield
Winter/summer insulation switching, beard penalty, Thermal Stone heat transfer and overheat/freeze checks
Physical (character multiplier), electric (double when wet) and planar (ignores multipliers and armour) computed separately
Health, damage reduction and planar penetration for 11 bosses, plus a first-winter Deerclops runbook
Stats and mechanics for 17 survivors, with Insight point planning (15 points at 68 days)
Season threats and winter prep, a first-winter countdown, and six-factor base siting weighted by failure risk
Generates the shared cluster.ini plus both shard server.ini files, adding the [STEAM] section the old version missed
Builds a forwarding table per shard layout and flags conflicts, pinpointing UDP gaps as the main cause of invisibility
Field-by-field Master vs Caves diff separating must-match from must-differ, with six checks against silent failure
Generates worldgenoverride.lua and explains why leveldataoverride.lua must never be hand-edited
Generates both modoverrides.lua files plus the mods/ download list, calling out the per-shard config trap
Offline whitespace and placeholder checks, plus the warning that a Steam password reset voids every token
Six recurring failures mapped as symptom → ranked causes → verification steps, never asserting a root cause
21 verifiable c_ commands graded by danger, fixing the invented c_kick / c_ban syntax from the old version
Separates snapshots from real backups, with scope, retention, a runnable script and a rehearsal checklist
Estimates CPU and RAM from players, shards and mods, stressing that single-core speed beats core count
Eleven graded checks including five blockers, with a recommended verification order
Use dedicated_lan_server to skip token checks and isolate server issues from token or port issues
Generates the entire cluster directory at once — token, shards, worldgen, mods and the download list
| Port | Protocol | Purpose |

| 8768 | UDP | Caves Steam query port (only if caves enabled) |
| 27018 | UDP | Steam master port for the Master shard |
| 27019 | UDP | Steam master port for the Caves shard (only if caves enabled) |

Lua mods share the game main thread and are the top cause of lag. The server main loop is single-threaded, so single-core clock speed beats core count. Roughly 65 MB RAM per player; ~3.5 GHz single-core and 4 GB RAM recommended.
